New Balance

Longden Company recently installed over 180,000 square feet of raised access flooring system for footwear manufacturer New Balance at their new headquarters in Brighton, MA. In addition to providing the ultimate flexibility in office reconfiguration, the underfloor space will be utilized for HVAC, power, and telecom utility distribution. Bare ConCore 1000 and 1500 panels were installed in the office and utility areas respectively. The office areas were covered with carpet tile and the utility areas with VCT. Longden lowered the flooring system in the bathrooms to accommodate underlayment and ceramic tile. A unique feature in the office area was the installation of a rubber track to mimic an indoor running track. Longden also provided and installed prefinished wood veneer panels to highlight the planned showroom areas.
